Anja Kuttner is an Antwerp based pianist of Belgian-German origin.

Anja is acclaimed for creating a unique intensity of dialogue between music and her audience.
Creating relaxing, warm and intimate musical stories for her audience is like second nature.
The connection between the listener and herself is vital for each concert.


As listeners say; ‘A mesmerizing experience where the listener is drawn into a
different reality.’

In her programs she holds a special place for female composers and lesser known repertoire.


Anja studied piano at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp with Levente Kende and Eliane Rodrigues. She was also part of the Art Song class of Jozef De Beenhouwer and Lucienne Van Deyck.

After her graduation she was mentored by Laurence Allix in Paris, the Italian concert pianist Irene Russo and sixth prize winner of the 2007 Queen Elisabeth Competition Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort.


Drawn towards different styles of music Anja has played as chamber musician, Lied
accompanist and soloist in concert houses, orchestras of big musical productions as well as
pop-rock bands.
